Sherco 2010 Trials Bikes

Malcolm Rathmell Sport are the Sole UK Importers for Sherco Motorcycles. They have imported the bike, which was formerly Bultaco since 1999. In 2000 the bike was known as Sherco by Bultaco and from 2001 it has been trading solely under the Sherco name. The Bultaco name, which is synonymous with trials success during the '70s, was bought by the Sherco founder, Mr Marc Tessier.

2010 Sherco Trials Models

Progress continues in both 2 and 4 stroke models

The new 2010 Sherco trials models, which had their worldwide launch at the 2009 Dirt Bike Show by the MRS team, have moved the concept of trials bikes one step further forward. The evolutionary new models follow the Sherco philosophy of practicality and simple and easy processes to enable the customer to undertake the minimum amount of work after every event.  Constant improvements in the areas of ride ability, competitiveness, reliability and quality are features that define all of the Sherco trials models. These improvements are the result of our constant testing and development in the field and in the lab, which makes us a reference point in the off road motorcycle world.

All of the new 2010 trials models have received significant improvements and design changes that are the result of our ongoing testing and development programs. The result of these changes is a motorcycle that is very balanced and easy to ride, which generates great confidence in the rider, no matter what type of obstacle they are confronted with. One of the most significant items that have been changed is the frame, fuel tank and air box. The geometry has been modified in order to increase the overall balance of the motorcycle, reduce chances of water entering the airbox and getting the weight very central and low down. These changes, when combined together, have resulted in a considerable improvement in the neutrality of the frame. These changes have been made to all of the models, both 2T and 4T as they share the same frame. In addition to these changes the suspension system has been reviewed and modified to work in concert with the frame changes.

The 2T and 4T motors have been totally designed and developed by Sherco and incorporate the latest advance in materials and electronic engine management controls. Thanks to the ongoing technical development they have become the most competitive motors in the trials sector. They are also environmentally friendly having obtained the current CO2 emissions certificate for their category. The Sherco motors also comply with the Euro 3 emission regulation for motor vehicles.
