Based on our expertise in the popular off road market and especially in our excellent record in competition, Sherco is now offering a motorcycle to the general public that embodies all of the merits of the mark for a small amount of money. The Sherco “Base” is bound to please those who want to legitimately take advantage of the technical expertise and competitive achievements of the brand and stay within a tight budget.
The base utilizes specific equipment that makes it suitable for use solely on urban roads and also confirms Sherco as a producer of “racing” 50cc motorcycles. The base, like all Sherco motorcycles is packed with European quality and technology. It is assembled with components and materials that have been selected for their good technical characteristics. Sherco uses the same forks on the base as are used on the rest of the 50 cc models, and incorporates dual front brake caliper pistons and spoked wheels, it also utilizes an efcient high-strength steel frame, wave brake rotors and rigid new aluminum alloy wheels.
The Sherco base also ostentatiously displays its racing heritage with a set of graphics that outlines the many laurels achieved by the brand in victories and titles acquired in national competitions in the enduro and Supermotard arenas.
The base is being produced in these diffcult economic times in order to show that Sherco has the ability to understand the constraints of our clients and to adapt quickly to a changing market. As in competition, responsiveness, creativity and effciency are complementary.
Its position at the bottom of the Sherco model line does not mean that that we are being disrespectful of our planet. Like all Sherco models of all engine sizes the base is designed to help preserve the planet. The base meets all of the current standards for emission controls. |
